On April 16, a delegation led by Isabelle Pertry, Director of International Affairs at Howest University of Applied Sciences (Belgium), visited Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU). Wang Ying, Director of the International Relations Office, Deputy Director Wang Jingna, Tang Lu, a faculty member from the School of Humanities and Management, and other staff attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Deputy Director Wang Jingna.

Director Wang Ying introduced the overall situation of ZCMU, highlighting the university’s achievements in teaching, scientific research, and international cooperation. She expressed hope for deeper collaboration between the two universities in the future. Director Isabelle Pertry expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and welcomed ZCMU faculty and students to study and exchange at Howest. Tang Lu also delivered a lecture titled “Coexistence with Traditional Chinese Medicine: Cultural Practices for Health Maintenance” for the delegation.

Additionally, the delegation visited the Zhejiang Chinese Medicine Museum.
