On the morning of October 27, a cornerstone-laying ceremony for Fuchun Campus of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) was held in Fuyang District, Hangzhou. Leaders from relevant functional departments of Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou, leading members of ZCMU, former leaders, and distinguished professors attended the ceremony.

In his address, Huang Wenxiu, the Secretary of the Party Committee of ZCMU, emphasized that the construction of the Fuchun Campus is a significant endeavor that embodies the ZCMU’s vision for development and plays a vital role in building ZCMU as a world-class traditional Chinese medicine university.

The cornerstone-laying ceremony was presided over by Chen Zhong, President of ZCMU.

The construction project of Fuchun Campus of ZCMU is located in Fuchun Street, Fuyang District, and divided into two sections: the north and the south. Construction commenced in October 2023, with a planned completion date of December 2025 and inauguration in 2026. The project’s design adheres to the integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture, the culture of Song Dynasty, and the natural beauty of the landscape of Fuchun District.
